The journal provides an excellent opportunity for researchers to contribute to the scientific community and further understanding in animal and environmental sciences.

Peer Review

Double-blind review system with at least two reviewers is used to evaluate manuscripts for publication. Editors have the right to reject the manuscripts without peer-review when the manuscript:

  • Is on a topic outside the scope of the Journal,
  • Lacks technical merit,
  • Exhibits narrow regional scope and significance,
  • Presents conflicting results,
  • Is poorly written,
  • Represents a case of scientific misconduct,

Style and Format

File Format:

Manuscript files must be in one of the following formats: DOC or DOCX. Microsoft Word documents should not be locked or protected.

Paper Categories and Their Length:

Research Papers must not exceed 20 manuscript pages, including tables and figures.

Short Papers and Technical Notes which present results of brief but significant work should not exceed 10 manuscript pages, including tables and figures.

Review Articles should not exceed 30 manuscript pages, including tables and figures.

Font:

Use font “Times New Roman” size “12 points” including Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion and References.

Headings:

Manuscript sections and sub-sections can be used but are not numbered.

Layout & Spacing:

Manuscript text should be 1.5 lines spaced with 25 mm margins including Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion and References.

In the papers that report experimental work, ‘Results’ and ‘Discussion’ sections are best combined. Sections may be subdivided by further headings if the authors think that it is better in this way for the continuity in the discussion section. In case of separation, simply state what are found in the results section, but do not interpret them. Do not format text in multiple columns.

Page Numbers:

Include page numbers in the manuscript file.

Footnotes:

Footnotes are not permitted. If your manuscript contains footnotes, move the information into the main text or the reference list, depending on the content.

Language:

Manuscripts must be submitted in English.

Abbreviations:

Define abbreviations upon first appearance in the text. Do not use non-standard abbreviations unless they appear at least three times in the text. Keep abbreviations to a minimum.

Symbols and signs:

The percent sign appears without a space after the number (55%) and not before (NOT %55) Decimals are indicated by decimal points and not by commas (99.47 NOT 99,47).

Degree symbols are inserted from the Symbols menu.

Multiplication symbol is used (×) and not small "x" letters

Spaces are inserted between numbers and units (15 kg) and between numbers and mathematical symbols (+, ?, ×, =, <, >) but not between numbers and percent symbols (e.g 82%).

Units of measurement:

Use SI units. If you do not use these exclusively, provide the SI value in parentheses after each value.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE AUTHOR

Main Format

First page of the manuscript must be properly identified by the title and the name(s) of the author(s). It should be typed in Times New Roman, font sizes 12pt, one and half spaced, in A4 format with 2cm margins. All pages should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript. The manuscript must be saved in a word format.

Manuscripts should be arranged in the following order:

Title of Manuscript

Include a full title for the manuscript. The full title must be specific, descriptive, concise, and comprehensible to readers outside the field. Titles should be written in “Capitalize Each Word” case (conjunctions are not capitalized, and only the species names are italicized). Abbreviations in the article title are not allowed except the well-known ones.

ABSTRACT
The abstract should be clear, brief and accurate, provide the study’s justification and indicate clearly its objectives, findings and conclusions. Complete sentences, active verbs, the third person tense should be used. The abstract should include neither citations, references, sources, nor figures or tables. Standard nomenclature should be used. We suggest that authors add numerical values of their results to attract attention. The abstract should be between 200 to 300 words in length.

Key words

List four to six relevant keywords for the article. Consider using keywords that do not appear in the title to increase your article’s visibility and will provide indexing references.

INTRODUCTION
The study should be described briefly at the start, beginning with its significance. The current state of knowledge in the field the study is addressing should be carefully reviewed, supported by citations of the relevant and most recent publications (studies produced in the past five years are most desirable). At the end of this introductory section, the study’s objectives should be presented briefly and clearly.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

Materials and methods should explain clearly how your research was carried out. This section should be complete and reproducible. Established research methods can be described briefly and must include the necessary bibliographic references. Sub-headings should be used if necessary. New methods/instruments should be described in detail. Research involving animals or humans must include an explicit authoritative statement granting approval, including its code.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This section may be divided by sub-headings or may be combined depending upon the nature of manuscript and the type of study.

Results:

Present findings using tables and figures where necessary. In this section, the main findings of the study must be presented with clarity and precision. Results should be explained, but largely without referring to the literature.

Discussion:

Discussion should interpret the findings in view of the results obtained and compared with previous studies. You should explain what your results mean, what their significance and importance are and how they add new knowledge to the extant research. State the conclusions in few sentences at the end of the paper.

‘Results’ and ‘Discussion’ sections may as well be combined. The results and discussion sections can include subheadings.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This section should clearly explain the main conclusions of the work. It should not be more than one paragraph and should not repeat the text presented earlier in the text. Efforts should be made to highlight the importance and relevance of the study. Suggestions for future research are welcome.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

All acknowledgments (if any) should be included in the manuscript before the Reference section and may include supporting grants etc. The funding organization(s) and/or person(s) who indirectly contribute to the study should be thanked. Corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the organization(s) and/or persons given in the Acknowledgements agree to be named.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

In cases where no conflicts of interest exist, authors should state that “The author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interests regarding the publication of this article”. Otherwise, they should mention any conflict of interest in this section of the manuscript.

Tables and Figures

Each figure and table should be cited in order of first appearance in the text (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.). Tables should be captioned at the top of the table in justified, while figures' captions should be given at the bottom of the figure with centered. Abbreviations and symbols used in the tables and figures should be defined in the text. Tables should be given without vertical lines and shading. Figures should be provided in TIFF or JPEG format. Tables are to be typed single-spaced throughout, including headings and footnotes. Each table should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and supplied with a heading, titled case and bold. Tables should be self-explanatory. The same data should not be presented in figure or graph forms. Table format should be used in formatting tables without gridlines and should be inserted in the appropriate place in the text.
